This Malepère wine is a blend of 2 grape varieties which are Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
The wines produced with Cabernet Franc are medium in color with fine tannins and subtle aromas of small red fruits and spices. By blending it with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it brings complexity and a bouquet of aromas to the wine.
The dry and sunny climate of the Malepère region allows it to produce fruity wines.
On the palate this red wine is a powerful wine with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. a good table wine for cheese, beef, poultry...
Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah for this pale and delicately fruity Corbières on the nose. In the mouth, the fruit is still there, the balance too, between roundness and acidity.

Le Cellier des Demoiselles was created in 1914, just before the First World War. The origin of this name is a tribute to the young women of the village who, in the absence of their men, did everything possible to preserve the wines and the Terroir.
Located on the vertiginous slopes of Guebwiller and on the mountainside, the Schlumberger vineyard is undoubtedly one of the most striking in Alsace. All terraces, the slopes are such that the vineyard has been nicknamed “the calf breeze”
It is a fruity and very aromatic dry white.
You can drink it anytime (from aperitif to dessert), anywhere and with anything (sauerkraut, Pyrenees cheese, dessert). It's the wine that goes everywhere and will please everyone.
The Schlumberger vineyard practices sustainable cultivation with the grassing of certain plots which makes it possible to control yields and fight against erosion. This also saves on ground work still carried out in certain very steep plots by draft horses.
